The problem these papers answer
Today your phone number, name, and email are reverse-lookup keys used to find you and learn everything about you inside other people's databases — and a hacker's — with you, the end user, holding the bag. The papers argue the inverse: your information is your business and your asset, owned and controlled by you, on hardware you own.
